Nancy Giles

The Allen Firm, P.C., has employed Ms. Giles since 1985 where she currently serves as Office Manager. Her experience includes accounting and employee relations. Having received her B.B.A. in accounting from Tarleton State University, Ms. Giles performs all accounting functions for The Allen Firm, P.C. along with time and billing matters, tax issues, employee policy management, computer systems management, and other matters relating to the administration of the firm.

Sonda Smith

Ms. Smith has been employed by The Allen Firm, P.C. since January 2004; she has over twenty years experience as a secretary and Administrative Assistant and came to The Allen Firm, P.C. from a national Dallas, Texas firm where she served as Credit Manager and administrative assistant. Her present duties include collection and bankruptcy litigation support as well as general litigation assistance.

Rachel Thackerson

Ms. Thackerson is a life-long resident of Texas. At the Allen Firm, P.C. she serves as legal assistant with responsibilities primarily including assisting Attorney J. Allen in the preparation of real estate documents, closing real estate transactions and foreclosures, as well as assisting Attorney McKethan in the preparation and preservation of corporate documents. Ms. Thackerson received her A.A. degree from Cisco Junior College and her B.B.A. in Management from Tarleton State University.

Shannel Landeros

Ms. Landeros comes to The Allen Firm, P.C. from upstate New York. In addition to her position as receptionist, she serves as legal assistant for probate and estate planning matters, she assist Attorney J. Allen in the firm’s advertisement and marketing solutions; and she provides administrative support to all the firm’s attorneys. Ms. Landeros is also bilingual and assists the Spanish-speaking community. She received her A.A.S. degree in Individual Studies from Jefferson Community College in Watertown, New York.

Peggy Cashmer

Ms. Cashmer has over twenty years experience as a legal assistant and administrative assistant and came to The Allen Firm, P.C. from Blakeman & Schrock, Ltd. in Pontiac, Illinois where she worked as personal legal assistant to the law firm. At the Allen Firm, P.C., Ms. Cashmer assists Attorney McKethan with estate matters, Attorney Beam with real estate litigation matters, and other attorneys with their cases. She also provides support in the preparation of documents for estate planning and probate matters.
